Role: Online Product Development Manager
Job Description:
As Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for the product planning
and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing
product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely
with engineering, content and marketing teams to ensure goals are met in the proper
deadlines. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports
the company’s overall strategy and goals.
You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas. You
must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision,
and the drive to make that vision a reality.
You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with
technical teams to define product release requirements. You will work with marketing
communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the
product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also coordinate
with content teams to define their short and long term needs to be included in roadmaps
of the product.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning
to tactical activities
- Follow up the daily tasks and running plans with different teams.
- Prepare technical, content and marketing requirements for different
projects.
- Monitoring and reporting products performance using all possible
tools like Google Analytics, Webmaster tools, social media analysis tools, etc.
- Manage online ads process with the agency, clients and creative
teams.
- Working on enhancing the SEO and SEs ranking using different tools
and techniques.
- Monitoring and analyzing existing and possible competitors.
- Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing
opportunities
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of digital product management experience.
- A proven knowledge in technology (i.e. web design & development
concepts, web analysis, user experience and usability, online marketing concepts).
- A relative high degree or work experience are required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic
& English.
- A background of working in news and media is preferred.
